Yesenia McCool

Merchandising Assistant

Yesenia was born and raised in the Fresno/Clovis area’s of California. After High School she attended Fresno City College for 2 ½ years where she studied Criminology. Upon the arrival of her first daughter Yesenia decided that the future in fighting crime was no longer realistic.

Yesenia came to Davis Commodities in 2001 after owner Bob Davis searched for her. Bob had come to know Yesenia while she was working in customer service at another business. Bob always remembered what an excellent job Yesenia was doing and told himself that when the opportunity arose he wanted her to work for Davis Commodities. Only a couple of years later that opportunity presented itself and Davis Commodities needed a Receptionist, a position Bob Davis takes very seriously. The search began to find and recruit Yesenia.

In 2003 Bob began to teach Yesenia a new and challenging position, Logistics Manager – a position she held until she moved into trading in 2011. An intrinsically important part of the team, Yesenia now assists the traders as a Merchandising Assistant.

When asked to summarize her work experiences Yesenia had this response; “Thoughout the many years I have worn many hats and learned many things. I love my job and the people I work with very much. I’m grateful for the opportunities that Davis Commodities have given to me and my family. I always knew I wanted to help people and now I am doing just that.”
