Lisa Davis

Chief Operating Officer

Lisa Davis began her career with Ranchers Cotton Oil, a cottonseed crushing plant where Penny Newman Grain is located today, in 1982 as a receptionist. From there she worked for another commodities company prior to the inception of Davis Commodities in 1987. Lisa was responsible for establishing the bookkeeping system since it was done by hand in those days. Eventually a custom program was written by Jeff White named BOS, which Lisa became one of the first operators of the BOS system. Davis Commodities began as part-time work, which gave her the opportunity to complete her college education earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature at Fresno State. As Davis Commodities grew, Lisa’s responsibilities increased, where today Lisa is the CFO/COO and oversees all financial aspects of the company.

Lisa enjoys the challenging work and is always striving for maximum efficiency and accuracy. She has spent most of her life in Clovis where she currently resides with her husband, Davis Commodities, CEO Bob Davis. She enjoys spending time with family, reading and keeping fit.
